More photo fun

Yesterday was great! Went skating with me

went out for Ethiopian food with B

and came home to lots of nice messages.

This morning, two packages came in the mail.
This from Em

A lunchbag which she 'felted' herself. She even made the button, out of fimo. Every time I look at it, I laugh. Isn't it excellent?

(What is 'felted'?)

And this from Best Friend

Yay! I can't wait to listen to this, but I'm trying to catch up with the transcribing first, which I let slide a little this week.

(So how do I have time for all this writing?)

When I unwrapped the CD, I realised that the 'Old' in Old Disc Jockey referred to the disc, not the jockey. And all along I had that the other way around...

(Recognise that mug, anyone?)

now you should go re-read the comments here and you'll get the line spacing created by your super witty friend (me).

I didn't notice the "old" bit. I always thought it was the other way too. It's the way he says it.

the old

disc jockey

"All birthday meals should be Ethiopian food" is my mandate, that way I'm always happy at the birthday meal.

If you find out what felting really means, do tell. femo is the funniest word ever spoken

I almost didn't recognize the mug. it was a student gift that I re-gifted to you without even using it. :D

Ha ha! God I'm slow. You sure are a wit - a merciless one!

Yes, best meal ever. I was so full afterwards, though. The samosa appetiser overdid it.

Is it femo? I guess it is. She also made me a femo egg cup for Christmas. It has a funny happyface inside.

The mug is not my favourite because the word 'steep' is on it, a word which has annoyed me since those stupid commercials, but I use it quite a lot. I like to put earl grey or white tea in it. ;P

haha! after I wrote that I realized I spelled femo wrong but was too lazy to go back. I have no idea how to spell it.

how does that work as an egg cup? I can't imagine, I don't really have any fimo to check out though. I keep thinking of disintegrating playdough

I think you have the spelling right. When I reread Em's card I think she spelled it that way.

Who cares!

I'll have to post a picture of the egg cup. And the semi-indoor icicle.

oh I didn't realize the icicle was semi-indoor!

also by commercial are you referring to the TH (TM) steeped tea bit (which incidentally is amazing tea for a place like that)?

Yellowbird said...

Yes. I hate their silly commercials, but especially that one. All tea is steeped.
